Mrs. Malinda Kay Snell Oliver, 58, of Ozark, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, August 6, 2017, from Westview Heights United Methodist Church with Reverend Clay Lassiter and Reverend Sam Williams officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.

Mrs. Oliver was born January 29, 1959 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Kenneth Merlin Snell and Sarah Lavadous Monk Snell Kline. Malinda was a 1977 graduate of Carroll High School.  Malinda and Johnny had lived in various places over the years returning to Ozark in 2012.  She loved her family, the beach, her pets, and was an avid Auburn fan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Louis D. Kline; two brothers-in-law, Ben Adams and Wirt G. Epling, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, John Franklin “Johnny” Oliver, III of Ozark;

three sisters and brothers-in-law, Katrina Adams Littlefield and Leamon of Louisville, Dale Snell Zuccarini and Louis of Marietta, Georgia, Lisa Snell Epling of Newnan, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Lanier Snell and Linda of San Antonio, Florida; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Jean Oliver of Ozark; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jacki and Jeff Outlaw of Ozark; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Shana Oliver of Houston, Texas;  and her special loving dog, Ollie.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Westview Heights United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1045, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
