Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL



 



Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Peters, 69, of Ozark, died Sunday, October 15, 2017.



Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 21, 2017, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend James Bell, Reverend Jim Hill, Reverend Glenn Peters, and her husband, Reverend Harold Peters, officiating.   Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremation of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday in the church from 12:30 P.M. until service time.



Mrs. Peters was born August 8, 1948 in Atmore, Alabama to the late Guy Morgan and Juanita Wilson Ryder.  She attended Ozark City Schools, Baptist Bible Institute, and Wallace Community College.  She and her husband lived in various places while he served in the ministry.  Mrs. Peters was active in every church where her husband served as minister and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; one grandson, David Michael Peters; and one granddaughter, Madison Aileah Reynolds.



Survivors include her husband, Reverend Harold Peters of Ozark; two sons, Jessie Harold Lewis Peters, Jr. and his wife, Pace of Enterprise, Christopher Matthew Peters and his wife, Sabrina of Level Plains; one brother, Billy Ray Morgan (Amy) of Griffin, Georgia; Sonja Faye Peters (Mother of Jacob Peters, Jessie Peters, and Jessica Cooper);  six grandchildren, Jessie Alan Peters (Diana), Jessica Alexandria Cooper (Galen), Jacob Aaron Peters (Alexa), Jemma Aliese Peters, Victoria Mathis (Parker), and Kendall Reynolds; four great grandchildren, Blake Aaron Peters, Brandon Alan Peters, Liliana Mae Peters, and Tyler McBride . Several nieces and nephews also survive.
