ABBEVILLE. . .Oleta Wackerly Creech, a resident of Abbeville, died Thursday night, December 22, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. She was 92.

            No funeral or memorial services are planned at this time.

            Mrs. Creech was a native of Arkansas where she lived most of her lifetime before moving to Abbeville in 2007. She was a member of the Abbeville Church of Christ. Mrs. Creech was retired from Banquet Frozen Foods in Batesville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clements Wackerly and Irene Mitchum Wackerly, her husband, Roy W. Creech, and all her sisters and brothers.

            Surviving relatives include her son, Jimmie Ray Creech (Dennis McIvor), Abbeville; several nieces and nephews.
