Paul Arthur Faingnaert, 74, a resident of Red Level, passed away November 28, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.


Memorial services will be held 4pm Sunday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Day officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.


Mr. Faingnaert was born on October 2, 1943 in Pana, Illinois and lived there the early years of his life. He joined the U.S. Army and served a tour in Germany. Mr. Faingnaert was employed as a Master Electrician and owned and operated his own business for 35 years until his retirement in 1993. He was an avid reader and he could build almost anything, having built 2 houses from the ground up.


Mr. Faingnaert was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Goldy Faingnaert.


Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Faingnaert; his sons, Paul Faingnaert, Webb Lee Holloway, Charles Faingnaert, and David Holloway; his daughters, Yvonne Hillburn, Shannon Gun, Teresa Guy, Sara Holloway, and Margaret Smith; his siblings, Charles Faingnaert, Nancy Roach, Carrol Coleman, and Butch Faingnaert.
