ABBEVILLE. . .Pauline Burkett Enfinger, a resident of White Oak Creek, Lake Eufaula, formerly of Echo, died Monday morning, December 25, 2017, in a Dothan hospital. She was 80.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, near Echo, with Reverend Ray Kelly and Reverend Larry Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Cemetery Fund, c/o Carolyn Riley, 1300 County Road 109, Newville, AL 36353.

            Mrs. Enfinger was born and reared in Headland, daughter of the late Robert  Burkett and Lula Ray Tice Burkett. She lived in the Echo Community of Dale County most of her lifetime before moving to White Oak Creek in 2005. Mrs. Enfinger was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Wex-Tex Manufacturing Company and WestPoint Stevens. Mrs. Enfinger was preceded in death by a daughter, Patti Enfinger, three sisters, Peggy Smith, Jeanelle Burkett and Judy Burkett and two brothers, Carlton Burkett and Darrell Burkett.

            Surviving relative include her husband, Willie Lawrence Enfinger, three sons, Johnny Enfinger (Paula), Abbeville; Harvey Enfinger (Jean), Morgantown, West Virginia; and Max Enfinger (Julia), White Oak Creek; five sisters, Martha Jean Osborne, Phenix City; Shirley Caulder, Columbus, GA; Patricia Farness, Headland; Brenda Sue Mills (James), Headland; and Linda McLean, Headland; a brother, Charles Burkett (Janie), Headland; three grandchildren, Nikki Enfinger, Willie Enfinger and Chris Lambert (Stephanie); six great-grandchildren.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Willie Enfinger, Robert Burkett, Randy Burkett, Johnny Burkett, Adam Burkett, Danny McLean and Jimmy Yates.
