Mr. Ralph Stovall Cannon, Jr., a resident of Ozark, died late Sunday morning, December 2, 2018 at his home. He was 70.


            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Dr. William Cannon, II and Reverend Greg Aman officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, PO Box 484, Ozark, AL 36361.           


            Mr. Cannon, son of the late Ralph Stovall Cannon, Sr. and Lillian Grace Spurlock Cannon, was a lifelong resident of Ozark. He was engaged with his family in a long line of paint contractors. Mr. Cannon was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Lee Cannon and a brother, John Andrew Cannon.


            Survivors include the mother of his children, Barbara Windham Cannon, Ozark;  his daughter, Kimberly Nicole Tapia (Steven), Auburndale, FL; his son, Kevin Lee Cannon, Ozark; a sister, Brenda Cannon Morimoto (Warren), Phenix City, AL; two brothers, Carroll Cannon (Irene) and Reverend William Cannon, all of Ozark; sister-in-law, Anita Cannon, Clanton, AL; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
