Mr. R.E. Yarbrough of Chancellor, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018.  He was 89.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

Mr. Yarbrough was born October 7, 1928 in Coffee County Alabama to the late Hubert and Hester Faulk Yarbrough. He was retired from the US Airforce with 21 years of service.  He was an aircraft mechanic and loved to garden, and watch wrestling.  He was a loving husband, of 69 years, father and grandfather.

Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by a son, Steve Yarbrough, his parents and three brothers, Willie, Otis and Jack Yarbrough and four sisters; Agatha Skinner, Lavollia Davis, Bertha and Effie Yarbrough.

Survivors include Wife of 69 years; Mary Gunter Yarbrough, of Chancellor, AL; Son, Rick Yarbrough (Sheila) of Lake City, FL; Daughter, Sherry Brannon (Don) of DeFuniak Springs, FL; Six Grandchildren, Justin Yarbrough, Geneva, AL., Derek Yarbrough (Anna) of Dothan, AL, Adam Brannon (Amber) and Gage Brannon of Defuniak Springs, FL;, Jarin Yarbrough, Lake City, FL; and Cori Yarbrough of Orlando, FL., three great-grandchildren; Saxon and Henley Yarbrough, and Ainsley Brannon.
