Rebecca Cochran, 59, a resident of Ozark, AL passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Dale Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11: a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Cochran was born May 20, 1957 in Henry County, AL and moved to Dothan at an early age where she attended Carver High School. She loved to keep her nails and hair fixed up and had a large "what not" collection. She enjoyed flowers and loved to grow flowers. Ms. Cochran was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bennett Poke and Versie Lee Poke, a sister, Dorothy Poke, and a brother, Everette Poke.

Survivors include her sons, Shedrick J. (Angela) Poke, Anthony Craig (Frances) Lynn, Bamion T. Lynn, and Otwann D. (Dessirae) Lynn; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Poke; sisters, Laurie Poke, Brenda (William) Asbie, Patricia Hamilton Phyllis Poke, and Valenta Poke; a host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
