Richard Eugene Breckenridge, age 70 previously of Bear, Delaware passed away at his home in Enterprise on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.  He taught at Sterck School for the Deaf in Newark, DE and Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.

Richard was a beloved brother and uncle.  Memorials may be made to:  Helen F. Graham Cancer Center through the website, christinacare.org.

Survivors include two sisters, Roberta Arnold (Mike) Enterprise, AL; Linda B. Davis, Denver, CO; three nieces, Amy Rasmussen (Niel); Margery Zimmerman (Ellington); Jordan Davis; nephew, George Richard Arnold (Robbin); four great-nieces, Haley, Megan and Marie Rasmussen; Morgan Arnold; three great-nephews, Michael Arnold; Hosana and Enoch Zimmerman.
