Richard Rials of Coffee Springs, passed away at home Saturday morning June 16, 2018. He was 67 years old.

Richard was a member of the Coffee Springs class of 1969. From 1976 to 1987, he was a local crop duster. Aside from flying, Richard had a lifetime of agricultural involvement including row crop farming, cotton consulting, and managing a local peanut buying point.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ellen of Coffee Springs; three children, Ginny (Lee) Bogle of Murfreesboro, JoMichael (Christy) Rials of Coffee Springs, and Betsy Rials of Coffee Springs; parents, Bud and Virginia Rials of Coffee Springs; three brothers, Billy Joe (Janie) Rials, Mic Rials, Jack (Jackie) Rials all of Coffee Springs, three grandchildren, Sam Bogle of Murfreesboro, Andy Rials and Jake Rials both of Coffee Springs.

A memorial service for Richard will be held at 3:00 o’clock on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Minister Harry O. Adkison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and also after the service concluding at 4:00 p.m.   

The family request that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
