Ricky Donald Holloway of Slocomb passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his residence. He was 55 years old.

 

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2pm Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Christian Home Cemetery in Slocomb, Alabama. The family will have lunch at New Prospect Baptist Church at 12pm prior to the service.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Verlie Marie Holloway; brother, James “Harold” Holloway; sister, Betty Joyce Palmer; and special longtime friend, Sally Skelly.

 

Survivors include two sisters, Myra Jean (David) Milner, Sandra Faye Stewart; special sister-in-law and niece he depended on for everything, Particia “Pat” Holloway and Leah Walding; nieces and nephews and their children, Teresa Hutcheson, John Holloway, Dana Deanda, Lana Moseley and Melinda Milner; his beloved home health aide, Dana; and a multitude of friends he enjoyed spending time with.

 

The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health for their wonderful care.

 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to New Prospect Baptist Church Children’s Fund.
