HALEBURG. . .Robert David “Bob” McCoig, a resident of Haleburg, Alabama, died early Sunday night, May 27, 2018, as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident which occurred at his home. He was 48.           

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, June 1, 2018, at the family residence in Haleburg, with a eulogy by Sean Cruce. The family will receive friends following the services.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

            Bob McCoig was born and reared in Little Rock, Arkansas, son of the late Lloyd David McCoig and Billie Jean Ouzts McCoig. He lived most of his life in Little Rock and also lived in Kinsey, Alabama before moving to Haleburg in 2016. He was employed by Ryder Truck Leasing as a Diesel Technician. Bob was of the Baptist faith.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Carmen H. McCoig; two daughters, Samantha Coulter, Plaistow, NH; and Alexandra Coulter, Little Rock, AR: a son, David Aaron McCoig, Conway, AR; his mother-in-law, Diann Head, Haleburg; a sister, Kimberly Ann Gray (David), Mabelvale, AR: three grandchildren, Ben Brown, Carley Coulter and Gregory Collins; sisters-in-law, Michelle Morton (Travis), and Stacey Dunn (Bobby).
