Robert Nolan Smith, a resident of Abbeville, died Monday, June 25, 2018, at his home. He was 67.

  No funeral or memorial services are planned at this time.

  Robert Smith was born in Detroit, Michigan and was reared in Tampa, Florida, son of the late Nolan Krager Smith and Phyllis Taylor Smith. He was employed for most of his lifetime as a Construction Superintendent in Commercial Construction in locations across the Southeast United States.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Robin Ivey Smith; a daughter, Stephanie; two sons, Wayne and Kevin; a sister, Susan Warrington, Florida; and two brothers, Dean Smith (Ronda) and Bradley Smith, all of Tampa, FL.
