Ronnie Alford Blackmon, 62, of Midland City, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Wiregrass Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 10 am Monday, February 5, 2018. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Ronnie was born in Ozark, AL on August 26, 1955 and lived there his early years until he moved to Dothan in 1962. He was employed in the construction industry as a carpenter for several years prior to his medical retirement. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved to ride his chopper. Ronnie attended Grimes United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Blackmon, Jr.; his daughters, Jessica Hurt and Billie Jo Merino; his mother, Myrtle Blackmon; his brother, Tommy Ray Blackmon; his sisters, Barbara Ann Sheppard and Brenda Gail Wood; and several nieces and nephews.
