SLOCOMB:  Ronnie Clyde Hughes, 55, a resident of Sierra Vista, Arizona, but who grew up in  Fadette, Alabama, died on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his home of a massive heart attack.  Ronnie retired from the US Army after over 30 years of military service and has lived in Sierra Vista, Arizona since.  He was a Military Intelligence Analyst in various field assignments all over the world and as an instructor in the U. S. Army Intelligence School, Fort Huachuca, Arizona.


 Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Damon C. Hughes, his mother, Myrl Hughes, a sister, Myra Miller, and a brother, Huey C. Hughes.  He is survived by three sisters, Melba Tolbert (Jerry), Fadette, Sandra MacFarland (Don), Dothan, and Kathy Hickman (Ronnie) Geneva; three brothers Del Hughes (Diane), Tallahassee, Roy Hughes (Virginia), Hartford, and Donald Hughes, Wetumpka; one sister-in-law, Shirley Hughes, Slocomb.   A private service for immediate family members will be scheduled for a later date
