Rosa Lee Parrish, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at a local hospital. She was 85.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Parrish was born on March 23, 1933 in Coffee County and lived the early years of her life in Glendale, Florida. She married in 1955 to Lawrence Parrish and followed him during his military career. Mrs. Parrish was a loving mother, wife, homemaker and loved anything to do with sewing, needlepointing, crocheting, and quilting.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence “Tom” Parrish; her daughters, Debra Ann Parrish (Joel) Parker and Laura Denise Parrish (Kerry) Clabaugh; her grandson, Larry Preston (Adriann) Clabaugh; and her 3 great grandchildren.
