Rose Anne Cain received her Angels Wings on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 54.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Steve Skidmore and Dr. Edwin Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and continuing until service time.  

The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to, First Baptist Church of Geneva: 309 South Commerce St, Geneva, AL 36340 or Merle Wallace Purvis Center: 1682 East County Road 4, Black, AL 36314.

Rose Anne was born in Geneva, AL on December 8, 1961 to Jerry and Johnnie Hill Cain. Rose Anne at 2 ½ years old was only given 6 months to live after brain tumor surgery and weeks of radiation. She lived to be 54 years old!

Rose Anne attended the Merle Wallace Purvis Center for many years before her health declined. Her handicap never hampered her outlook on life or her smile. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Rose Anne was preceded in death by her grandparents, John D. and Lucille Hill of Samson, AL and Otis and Gladys Cain of Geneva, AL.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Johnnie Cain of Geneva, AL; two brothers, Bruce Allen Cain (Nursel) of Airmont, NY, and Jeffery LeMay Cain of Geneva, AL; one niece, Selma Cain of Airmont, NY; one nephew, John Cain of Airmont, NY; and a number of special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Arnold, Geneva County Home Health Care, Geneva Rescue Squad, and Wiregrass Medical Center and their staff for the years of service.
