Ruth Hilma (Langford) Harrison, 98, born on January 28, 1918, of Spring Hill, FL, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Hilma was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Gilmore Harrison, her mother, Emmie Vernon (Parish) Langford, her father, Rufus Jackson Langford, and her youngest daughter, Susan (Harrison) Rivera. 

She worked as a secretary for the US Government at Fort Rucker, Alabama for many years.

Mrs. Harrison’s family was her pride and joy.  She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Harrison) Wyatt and Lucy (Harrison) Jordan; three grandchildren, Richard Wyatt (Georgia), Diane Wyatt Vieira (Gus), Celia Rivera Zagula (Kris), and five great-grandchildren.
