Sharon Eubanks Sheffield, age 68, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Sharon was born November 10, 1948 in Eufaula, Alabama to Madgeline Hartzog Eubanks and the late Walter Pitt Eubanks. Sharon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, and antiques. She loved travelling to Florida and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father, Walter Pitt Eubanks, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Billy Joe Sheffield.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Shannon Sheffield; her son, Billy Joe “Joey” Sheffield II and his wife, Misty; her mother, Madgeline Hartzog Eubanks; her sister, Judy Bates; her grandchildren, Walter Gabriel Sheffield, Samuel Stone Sheffield, and Sara Elizabeth Sheffield; other relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Gayle Ward Hart for her love and support during Sharon’s illness.
