Sharon Lola McKnight Smith Calhoun Sketo of Esto, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Bonifay Nursing Home, Bonifay, FL. She was 69 years old.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Sardis Church. Burial will follow in Isagora Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm at the church.

 

She was born December 21, 1948 in Fayettevile, AR to the late James S. and Dora McKnight.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Daily Smith; two sisters, Alice Ames and Charlotte Creel; two brothers, Lloyd McKnight and Joseph McKnight.

 

Survivors include John Sketo, Sr., two daughters, Brenda Smith Skinner (Charles) and Betsy Calhoun Spann (Joey), both of Hartford; two sons, Danny Smith of Montgomery and Johnny Mack Calhoun Sketo, Jr.; one granddaughter, Minnie Spann; four grandsons, Brandon Skinner, Matthew Skinner, Dalton Spann and Johnny Mack Sketo III “JT”; two sisters, Amy Lott of Beulah, MS and Georgina Tuckey of Orlando, FL; one brother, James W. McKnight of Bonifay, FL; many nieces and nephews.
