Shirley Ann Byrd of Daleville passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.  She was 75.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

 

Shirley was born August 1, 1942 in Lakeland, Florida to the late William Woodard and Ruby Combee.  She enjoyed spending time with all of her friends at the Daleville Senior Citizens Center. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jay Dale Byrd and her son, Junior Daugherty.

 

She is survived by her four sons:  Jerry Dale Byrd (Cathie) of Enterprise, Jarrell Ezra Byrd (Dolly) of Indiana, James Edward Byrd of Panama City, FL and Ricky Lee Byrd (Gayle) of Level Plains; one brother Alvin Woodward of Georgia; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
