HEADLAND. . .Shirley Sauble Bagwell, formerly of Headland, died early Wednesday morning, June 14, 2017, in Oakview Manor in Ozark. She was 80.

            Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 16, 2017, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan, with Reverend Norman C. Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Ms. Bagwell was born in York, PA and moved to Headland in 1963 where she lived for many years before moving to Oakview Manor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Headland where she was formerly employed as custodian. In earlier years, Ms. Bagwell worked as a Nurse’s Aide. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Frane, Mary Louise Jeffrey, and two infant sisters; and four brothers, Charles Henry Sauble, Pete Eckert, Thomas Sauble, and Lester Sauble.

            Surviving relatives include two sisters, Norma Jean Higgins, Easton, Maryland; and Susan Ireland, Washington; several nieces and nephews including, Mark Sauble and his wife, Dawn, Dothan. 

            The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Oakview Manor for the loving care and kindness shown to Shirley.
