Slade Peters, of Dothan, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  He was 27.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Slade was born January 19, 1991, in Dothan, Alabama to the late Mitchell Dale Peters and the late Stephanie Stinson Peters.

 

Survivors include his great-grandfather, Wyman Windham of Midland City; grandparents: David and Sherry Stinson of Daleville, and Jan and Alan Dannelley of Youngstown, FL; step-mother, Barbara Peters of New Brockton; four brothers: Tommy Smith of Headland, Sean Godwin (Deborah) of Live Oak, TN, Jason Godwin (Katrina) of Ozark, and Andrew Larsen of Grimes; two uncles: Dana Peters and Derick Peters;  numerous cousins.
