Mr. Stancil Earl “Buddy” Jacobs of Samson, Al, passed away on Tuesday morning October 31, 2017 in Geneva, Al. He was 44.

 Memorial services will be held at a later time at the family home.

 Stancil was born July 18, 1973 , in Covington County, Al to Edward Earl “Bo” and the late Barbara Sue Ford Jacobs.  He was employed with Miller Roofing Co. in Samson for 28 years. He was widely known among family and friends as a “shade tree” auto mechanic who could fix anything and make it run. Stancil enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, but most of all, he loved his family. His nieces and nephews were his heart and soul.

 In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by brother, Michael Jacobs and sister, Becky Jacobs.

 He is survived by his father, Edward Earl “Bo” Jacobs of Samson; two sisters, Jeanie Marie Jacobs and Patricia Sue Jacobs both of Samson; two aunts, Patricia Ford of St. Charles, Mo and Shirley Fusch of Port St. Lucie, Fl ; four nieces, one nephew, two great nephews, and a host of cousins and extended family and friends.
