Mrs. Starla Thomas Drennan of Enterprise passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 55.

 

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Derek Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to ALS Research.

 

Starla was born January 16, 1962, in Enterprise, to the late Wallace and Lavounia Boutwell Thomas.  She worked many years as a bookkeeper for the Enterprise City School System.

 

In addition to her parents, a sister, Kathy Rodriguez preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Robert “Bobby” Drennan of Enterprise; two daughters: Elizabeth Drennan and Sarah Ivey (Craig), all of Enterprise; four grandchildren: Michael, Katelyn, Madison, and Emma; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
