Steven Dale Thomas, Age 55, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Friday, February 9, 2018.

He was born on September 9, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri to Bob and Mary (Einhart) Brown. He was raised in Springfield, Missouri with his two sisters and six brothers. Steve was a hard worker throughout his life and ran his own lawn care service for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and being with friends and family during his spare time.

Steve was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Deana; his children, Dale (Samantha), Katrina, Christopher (Randi), and Frank; sister, Joyce Ward; brother, David Thomas; two grandsons, five granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, at his home in Bonifay, Florida with Pastor Eddie Eaton officiating the ceremony.

The Thomas family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at Covenant Care for their kindness and loving care during this difficult time. Steve will always be remembered by those who love him as the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back with a smile on his face and a joke to send you on your way.
