Steven Jeffrey “Jeff” Heath, 46 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, two days shy of his 47th birthday. He was born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama and was a graduate of both Enterprise High School (1989) and Enterprise and Ozark Community College – Associates Degree and Air Frame and Power Plant Certification – (2012). Jeff had been a resident of Lake City for 5 years and was currently serving as a Maintenance Supervisor with HAECO Americas in Lake City. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid (some might say rabid) University of Alabama football fan – ROLL TIDE. Jeff was a loving husband and father to his children and was a loyal friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Erica Heath, Lake City; his father and mother, Jake and Jane Heath, Enterprise, AL; three children, Chelsea Bowman (Teddy), Carlee Brooke Heath and Jackson Cole Heath all of Lake City; two brothers, Scott Heath (Christine), Dothan, AL and Jon Heath, Enterprise, AL; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 4:00 PM (ET) at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 3-4:00 PM (ET) at the funeral home. An additional memorial service will also be conducted on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 4:00 PM (CT) in the Chapel of Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise, Alabama. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 3-4:00 PM (CT) at Searcy Funeral Home.
