Susan LaRoche McNamara, a resident of Abbeville, died late Thursday night, June 21, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. She was 60.

     Graveside services, with military services, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Joe Vickers officiating. Homan-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

     Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Alacare Hospice, 3379 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36305.

     Mrs. McNamara was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1976. Mrs. McNamara served her country in the United States Air Force from 1977-1981 and was discharged with the rank of Sergeant. She was preceded in death by her father, Sherwood Eugene LaRoche, and mother, Ruby Nell Helms LaRoche.

     Surviving relatives include her husband, Paul McNamara, Abbeville; one daughter, Rebecca McNamara (Paul Eaton), Dothan; two sons, Michael McNamara (Nina), Atlanta, Georgia; Thomas McNamara, Abbeville; and three brothers, Richard LaRoche (Maria), Goldsboro, North Carolina; David A. LaRoche (Bobbi), Letohatchee, Alabama; Mark LaRoche (Karen), Abbeville.
