On Sunday, February 17, 2019 Susie Nell Dowling Nolen passed away. She was 89. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Pondtown Methodist Church with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Donna Cumbie will be officiating and Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Susie Nell Nolen was born on March 25, 1929 to Willie and Claudia Dowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winerton Wilson Nolen and daughter, Virginia Sharp.

She is survived by her son, Wendel (Regina) Nolen; grandson, Wade (Nicole) Sharp; granddaughter, Lily Grace Nolen; great grandsons, Nicolas and Colson Sharp; and son-in-law, Russell Sharp.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Pondtown Cemetery.
