COLUMBUS, MS…Tani Suzanne Olive Spears, a resident of Columbus, MS. (formerly of Ozark), died Monday, March 19, 2018. She was 60.

       Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Pondtown United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartford, with Reverend Donna Cumbie officiating. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

          Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association- USA, National Office, 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60606.

Mrs. Spears was born in Augsburg, Germany, daughter of the late Robert Henry Olive, Jr. and Bette Muree Lorenzen Olive. She formerly lived in Arkansas before moving to Ozark in 1978 and had recently moved to Columbus, MS in 2013.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Mike Spears, Columbus, MS.; her son, Kameron Peters, Dothan; a sister, Sunni Jacobs (Johnny), Ariton; a brother, Mike Olive (Nell), Ozark; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Dillard, Hartford and Carolyn Dean (Lawrence), Hartford; two grandchildren, Sarabeth Peters and Brody Peters; several nieces and nephews.
