Thelda C. Henderson, 82, of Ozark, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Brother George Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Saturday.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the Ozark Church of Christ in her memory.

Mrs. Henderson was born March 16, 1935 in Dale County where she lived most of her life.  She retired after 27 years of service with Civil Service in Ft. Rucker.  She was a lifetime member of Ozark Church of Christ.

Mrs. Henderson is predeceased by her parents, nine brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Don Henderson; two daughters, Shannon Carter (Chuck) and Susan Pittman (Jimmy); four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
