Thomas Richard Weldon, Jr., a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was 44.

Mr. Weldon was a 1992 graduate of Apalachicola High School and attended FSU at the Panama City, Florida campus. He was CFO of Nightingale & Associates in Apalachicola, FL and worked with Herndon Oil Company in Ozark, AL. Mr. Weldon was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church in Ozark.

Mr. Weldon was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Richard Weldon, Sr., his grandfather, J. B. Chancey, and by his grandmother, Juanita S. Weldon.

Survivors include Tanya Shiver Weldon and their children, Thomas Gregory Weldon and Carolyn Weldon, Troy, AL, Anita Elaine “Ellie” Weldon, Tallahassee, FL, and Richard Louis Heckler, Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Piper Elaine Weldon, Troy, AL, Parker Reed Weldon, Troy, AL, and Alexander Alika “Xander” Weldon, Tallahassee, FL; his parents, Debra Elaine Chancey Weldon Fordyce and Tim Fordyce, Dothan, AL; his grandmother, Margaret Elaine Windham Chancey, Ozark, AL; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Darrin Freitag, Dothan, AL; his nieces, Tori and Ava Freitag, Dothan, AL; his uncles, Gary Chancey, Ozark, AL and Greg Chancey, Apalachicola, FL; and a multitude of extended family and friends also survive.

A private memorial service will be held 2:30 pm Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Post Oak Baptist Church, 4108 North Union Ave. Ozark, AL 36360.
