ABBEVILLE. . .Treena Cedrone-Brannon, a resident of Abbeville, died early Tuesday morning, April 10, 2018, at her home. She was 47.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 12, 2018, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Minister Bob Blalock officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and also from 11:00 until 12:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Headland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Haven Animal Rescue Kennels (S.H.A.R.K.), P. O. Box 126, Abbeville, AL 36310.
Treena Cedrone-Brannon was born in Montgomery and reared in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was a graduate of Central High School in Cheyenne. Treena received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming. She also received a Master’s of Science and Counseling & Psychology from Troy University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Treena was employed as a Mental Health Therapist and Social Worker for many years. She was a twenty-six year kidney transplant survivor. Treena lived in Chipley, Florida before moving to the Union Community of Henry County in 2009. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving relatives include her husband, John Micheal Brannon, Abbeville; a daughter, Hilirie Alise Newell, Jacksonville, Florida; two step-children, Hayleigh Washington (Derrick), and Cory Brannon, all of Manhattan, Kansas; her mother, Joyce Carroll (Jerry), Cheyenne, Wyoming; her father, Vincent Cedrone (Terri), Montgomery, Alabama; and her “Daddy”, William Tatum (Kim), who legally adopted Treena; three sisters, Kortnie Raysor (Mark), San Antonio, Texas; Jesssica Darling, Jacksonville, Florida; and Summer Dunn (Jacob), Andalusia, Alabama; a brother, Jacob Darling (Amy), Jacksonville, FL; two step-grandchildren, Elijah Brannon and Aaliyah Washington; her maternal grandmother, Myrtis Smith, Dothan; her fur babies, Spike, Roscoe, Buffy and Champ; several nieces and nephews.
