Vassie Rebecca (Becky) Miller, 96, of Geneva went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2017.  Becky was born on January 16, 1921, in Coffee Springs, Alabama to Henry Allen and Beulah Howell.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Minister Doug Williams and Adam Habbard officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the funeral home.

Becky was a member of the Geneva Church of Christ.  She had a passion for helping others in any way she could and would always share her faith with others.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Allen and Beulah (Hughes) Howell, her husband, Orville (Jack) Miller, her brothers, Arlie, Clayton, Malvin, Herbert, Hoover, and Wilmer Howell, and her sister, Lessie (Howell) Ganous.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Pamela (Crutchfield) Miller, her granddaughter, Libby Miller (Justin) Wallace, her great-granddaughter, Ella Claire Wallace, her sister, Edna Rudd, her brother, Rubyn Howell, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will by Andy Braswell, James Braswell, Mike Linder, Jeff Linder, Kevin Rudd, and Barry Rudd.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Southern Care Hospice in her memory.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Wiregrass Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, the staff of Southern Care Hospice, and Dr. John F. Simmons.

The family will be gathering at the home of her granddaughter at 111 North Lincoln Street, Geneva, Alabama 36340.
