Vickey Sue Lindsey of Geneva passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. She was 69 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Gene Hauser and Rev. Steve Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Ms. Lindsey was born on November 11, 1948 to the late James Allen and Mary Will Miller Lindsey. Vickey was a 1967 graduate of Samson High School. She worked for Russell Corporation for over 10 years. Ms. Vickey was a very loving and outgoing person who always cherished the time that she spent with her family. She was a two time breast cancer survivor. She was a devoted Christian and faithful believer.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Ed Lindsey; and one sister, Linda Brown.

She is survived by two sons, David Weeks of Chicago, IL, and Brad Weeks (Jamie) of Geneva; one granddaughter, Abigayle Weeks of Geneva; sister-in-law, Shay Lindsey of Geneva; brother-in-law, Russell Brown of Geneva; and many special nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Brad Foster, John Lindsey, Stephen Brown, Frankie Lindsey, Don Farris, and Phillip Mixon.
