WANDA  JEAN  GREEN

HEADLAND. . .Wanda Jean “Minnie” Green, a resident of Headland, died Friday afternoon, July 21, 2017, at her home. She was 77.

            Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 24, 2017, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Reverend Ricky Sowell officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Green was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and was reared in Paisley, Florida, daughter of the late Charles Edwin Smith and Sudie Lee Jordan Smith. She lived in Ocala, Florida and Dothan before moving to Headland in 1990. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Elton Green and several sisters and brothers.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Shirley Hall (Tommy), Webb, AL; and Tammy Collins (Jeffery), Headland; three sons, Daniel Finley and Thomas Finley both of Webb, AL; and David Green, Morgan City, LA; four sisters, Doris, Judy, Annalee and Cathy; and two brothers, Tommy and Peck; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Jeffery Collins, David Green, Tommy Hall, Cameron Bullard, Julian Cohen and Curtis Peters.
