Obituary:  Wendy Lee Shaw

 

Wendy Lee Shaw of Enterprise went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 46. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Byrd and Reverend Larry Grimm officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. 

Wendy was born December 30, 1970 in Coffee County to George and Althea Andrews Ishee.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Wendy was a loving wife, adoring mother, sister and daughter who will be profoundly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Ishee Martins; grandparents: Roy and Ruby Andrews and C.J. and Lucille Ishee. 

Survivors include her husband, Roger Lee “Buck” Shaw, New Brockton; two sons: Jacob Lee Shaw and Zachary Andrew Shaw, both of Enterprise; parents, George and Althea Andrews Ishee, Enterprise; siblings: Mary Strickland (Ned), Enterprise, Elizabeth Ishee, Orange Beach, FL and George Clark Ishee Jr. (Katherine), El Dorado Hills, CA; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
