William Austin “Jug” Mixon, age 89, of New Brockton, AL, passed away, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Flowers Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at New Brockton City Cemetery at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 11, 2018, with Rev. Leon Adams officiating. Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Team RWB.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Peggy Mixon, New Brockton, AL; a daughter, Carla Davidson, New Brockton, AL; grandson, David Davidson (Teddie) Enterprise, AL; great-granddaughter, Lilly Ann Grace Davidson, Enterprise, AL.
