William Danny Powell Jr. of Daleville passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.  He was 32.

 

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

 

Willy was born March 11, 1984, in Dothan, Alabama.  He was fun to be around, and he loved the outdoors, especially anything to do with the river, fishing, and four wheeling.  He was an avid Alabama “Roll Tide” fan.  He was an Army veteran and hauled fuel for our soldiers in Iraq.  He is finally at peace and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

 

Survivors include mother, Donna Gilmore (Ronnie) of Enterprise; father, Willy Powell (Michelle) of Daleville; twin sister, Tammy Weaver (Thomas) of Cusseta, Georgia; brother, Craig Cron (Robin) of New Brockton; two nephews: Thomas Weaver Jr. and Kayleb Cron; niece, Jayme Cron; aunt, Jane Elmore of Florida; two uncles, Wayne Whittaker (Lois) of Eufaula, and Jimmy Whittaker of Enterprise.
