Geneva County High School FCCLA, Help Educate Geneva County Middle School Students on Technology/Internet Safety

Under the CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act), schools are required by the state to cover Technology/Internet Safety with all students each year.The Geneva County High FCCLA students who are competing on March 6th, in the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Montgomery, used their presentations to help Geneva County Middle School meet this requirement. The students did presentations on Social Media Safety and Cyberbullying. To Ms.Mills 6th Grade Class at Geneva County Middle School. FCCLA Students involved in educating the 6th graders are Michelle Rousseau, Ashley Peacock, Julia Baker, Sarah Fondren, Marife Concepcion and Kendall Hogan.FCCLA Students competing in Montgomery are Ashley Peacock, AShley Hanks, Cayden Hess, Michelle Rousseau, Marife Concepcion, Sarah Jane Fondren, Kendall Hogan and Julia Baker. These students will compete in categories such as Job Interview, Illustrated Talk, Leadership and Focus on Children.
