Cottonwood Bears vs Houston Academy Raiders, 10/04/13

This Friday the Cottonwood Bears (4-1),will make the short drive to Westgate Complex to take on the Houston Academy Raiders (4-1.) Cottonwood is under the leadership of 7th year head coach, Toby Greene, while coach Jimmy Addison is at the helm of the Raiders. Both teams were undefeated until last weekend when the Raiders were defeated by 3A power Dale County, and the Bears lost to 1A power McKenzie over in McKenzie. This did not take any of the hype away from this upcoming game. Both have identical records and it will be Homecoming for the Raiders. The winner of this game will gain 1st place in the region as far as playoff status for now. This should be an interesting game for fans on each side of the field. Last year in Cottonwood, the Bears came from behind in the second half and won a thriller from the Raiders. Encouraging everyone to come to Westgate and support these athletes,cheerleaders,and bands. On the scoreboard,one wins, one loses, but everyone is a winner. Come on out
