Posted For Free For Troy University - Wiregrass Softball Camp

DOTHAN—Local girls ages 6 to 13 will be able to learn more about the fundamentals of softball from the coaches and players of the Troy University softball team during a one-day camp on Saturday, Oct. 6, in Dothan.

Head softball coach Melanie Davis, along with assistant coaches and players, will help participants improve basic skills including hitting, bunting, fielding, throwing and base running.

The camp will be held at the Westgate Softball Complex. The morning session for children ages 6-9 will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is open to children ages 10-13.

Camp sponsors include the Troy University Wiregrass Alumni Chapter, Bojangles, Screentech and Photorama.
