The EFC 99 wings, coached by Kenneth LeBlanc, are a strong core group of soccer pla yers that have earned many achievements. Eight of the pla yers have been together for the past 3-6 years. For the past few seasons, the wings have been playing in gold level competition brackets. They finished 20-5, 22-6-1, and 21-4-4 (to include 4 games against the Northside Methodist Academy JV team). With multiple championship and finalist medals, the wings also won a state championship, and were the gold medalist in the Alabama Olympic State games last year. The team was recognized by mayor Kenneth Boswell and the City Council.
