HOUSTON COUNTY:      The Chairman of the Houston County Commission, Brandon Shoupe, and the four elected voting members of the Houston County Commission, D1 Dr./Pastor Curtis Harvey, D2 Tracy Adams, D3 Sergeant with Houston County Sheriff Dept./Houston C. Commission Ricky Herring, and D4 Captain with Houston County Sheriff Dept./Houston County Commissioner James Ivey met in their reguslar scheduled meeting.

While these five claim "transparency and accountability", there is no documentation provided to accompany any item on the agenda. The agenda is a one page document. The City of Dothan Mayor, Mark Saliba and Associate Commissioners places the agenda on line with a hyper link under each agenda item with the documentation.

All items were approved.

A committee was established by the Houston County Commission to study Fire and EMS in the County. Following the establishment of the committee, D3 Sgt./Commissioner Ricky Herring asked to add to the agenda the appointment from the County Commission on the committee. D3 Ricky Herring made amotion to appoint Joey Pilcher of Pilcher Ambulance as the appointee of the Commission. The motion passed unanimously and without discussion.
