GORDON: 08:36 AM Houston County 911 dispatched Gordon Volunteer Department, Pansey Volunteer Fire Department, Ashford Volunteer Fire and Ashford Rescue to a structure fire.
The fire location was 970 Tifton Road in Gordon. Reports to Houston County 911 heavy smoke, one person inside and unable to get out.
Gordon Fire Chief Justin McAllister was the first on the scene. Chief McAllister resported a single story residential structure and heavy smoke coming from the front door. The occupant was able to be removed.
Ashford Fire Chief Jimmy Posey responded and other departments arrived.
By 08:57 AM Gordon Fire Chief McAllister reported under control and cancel all other incoming fire units.
IN ANOTHER CALL at 3:17 AM Houston County 911 dispatched Gordon Volunteer Fire Department to a single motor vehicle accident. The accident location was Old U.S. Highway 84 and Highway 84. Reports were a Dodge Charger verses a deer.
Gordon Volunteer Fire Chief Justin McAllister rolled to that accident. There were no injuries.
Wreck scene turned over to Houston County Sheriff Department and ALEA - Troopers.
