DOTHAN, 8:11 A.M.: Dothan Police, Dothan Fire, and Pilcher’s ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 1220 South Park Avenue in Dothan.
On arrival they found two people deceased.
Multiple Dothan police units, crime scene investigators, and Dothan Police Major Will Glover are on the scene.
At this time, there is no reason for residents to be concerned. Investigators are processing the scene and more information will be released.
10:12 A.M.: Just after 8 this morning officers were called to the 1200 block of South Park Avenue.
Two black males were discovered deceased inside. They apparently died from gunshot wounds, but how many is not available at the time, according to Lt. Scott Owens.
Police say there is currently no present danger to the community.
Police are waiting for investigators to confirm exactly when the men died.
"When you have two people who died by gunshot wounds, it's highly unlikely they both shot themselves. Finding out who's responsible, and if that person is still here and still living is what we'll be investigating," Owens said.
By the next media briefing, investigators are hoping to have notified the next of kin.
10:32 A.M.: Investigators are starting to collect shell casings and DNA.
The victims are 23-year-old Zatorrion O'Neil Facion and his brother 20-year-old Omarion Jackson. Both were from Dothan.
Owens urged people to submit tips to Dothan Police if they know anything about the deaths.
At this point, police say there is no reason for the community to be alarmed.
Dothan Police Chief Will Benny was also on the scene.
