11 A.M. UPDATE: Gas can explosion at 214 Thomas Drive, 2 children injured

DOTHAN, 9:26 A.M.—Dothan Rescue was dispatched to 214 Thomas Drive for a call of a gas can explosion. Initial reports indicated two children were injured.
9:31: Authorities have dispatched survival flight. Three victims are stable, with an adult sustaining multiple burns.
9:40: Pilcher's and Dothan Paramedics are transporting two patients with trauma to Southeast Health.
10:15: One patient was life-flighted out of the scene to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Rescuers staged the survival flight from the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds parking lot.
11 A.M.: A 7-year-old and an 11-month-old were from Southeast Health to UAB Hospital. It appears the explosion happened when gas was poured onto a fire.
