Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatches for every fire and EMS agency across the 563 square miles of Dale County. The only agencies they do not dispatch for is Daleville Department of Public Safety and Ft. Novosel.
Daleville has their own holding jail and that is why they dispatch themselves so someone is at the jail 24/7. And Ft. Novosel is a military base - so you know the government.
All 911 calls come into Ozark - Dale County 911. One minute you might be talking to someone who is complaining of a loud noise, and the next second you might be giving someone life-saving instructions until EMS and law enforcement arrive. The next second, a high speed pursuit to a robbery which has just occurred and getting details broadcast to responding units and agencies surrounding Dale County.
It is a demanding job. While you are not in the field, you are involved in everything normal and not normal happening in emergency services across Dale County.
