PIKE COUNTY - TROY:      Congratulations Captain Sam Mallory for 32 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Pike County and The Pike County Sheriff’s Office.

Sam has been a great asset to this office, and we are forever grateful for the time he devoted to the betterment of our county. Enjoy every moment of your well-deserved retirement!

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas has been proud to serve with Sam Mallory for his 32 years with the Sheriff Department. Sheriff Thomas is in his 8th consecutive term as Pike County Sheriff. That means he has been Sheriff for 30 of Captain Mallory's 32 years with the Sheriff Department.

Just this year the Pike County Commission opened a new Judicial Complex. That complex includes the Sheriff Department and Pike County Jail. A much needed facility to serve the citizens of Pike County.
