WICKSBURG:      The Anderson family has had a farm in Wicksburg for a number of years. During his service as Circuit Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit, Judge Larry Anderson enjoyed the times he was able to get to work on the farm.

Growing up the Larry and Sandy Anderson's son, Hunter, worked along his dad's side on the farm on weekends and off days.

Hunter went into the military. While serving in the United States Military, he took a bullet in combat which changed his path, in more ways than one.

The change in Hunter's path in his continued service in the United States Military was one change, but that change led to a greater change that was way more positive in Hunter's life.

While Hunter was deployed to Afghanistan, he was wounded in a near ambush, which led him to an extensive recovery and on a new journey that he had never imagined.  After almost a year of recovery, he volunteered for a reconnaissance mission in south Texas where he could continue to regain his strength while still being operational in a low-threat environment.  During that time, he met Jazmin, and the two quickly fell in love

The better change was in meeting the love of his life which he has married and they have a child.

While searching for a place for a reception for Hunter and Jazmine, Sandy learned that although there were a variety of event spaces in the Wiregrass, they were constantly booked, and none held the natural beauty that the farm held.  That's when she realized that we could build our own venue at the farm.

What started out as a laughable idea turned into a serious conversation, and eventually led to Hunter and Jazmin moving to Dothan in order to work on and manage the event space, with Larry generously funding the project.

The EVENT VENUE, located at 3115 Judge Logue Road in Wicksburg provides a very beautiful and peaceful setting for whatever event you desire. A great place for weddings, social gatherings, family reunions, corporate private meetings. Complete with a kitchen, upstairs dressing rooms, and plenty of room for inside gathering. A huge porch across the back looking over the hill at the pond.

Plenty of room for parking for all of the guests.
